We are pleased to present the new ERS Cataract Centre (ECC) which provides a dedicated and focused one-stop service for all types of cataracts. The ERS Cataract Centre will perform meticulous pre-operative cataract assessment with obsessive attention to detail followed by precise surgery to ensure the most optimal outcomes.

CHEE Soon-Phaik, MD, is the Distinguished Professor of Clinical Education in Ophthalmology at the Duke-National University of Singapore Medical School. She is a Senior Consultant of the Cataract and Comprehensive Ophthalmology Service and Ocular Inflammation and Immunology Service at the Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC), where she served as the immediate past head of both the Advanced Cataract Service and the Ocular Inflammation and Immunology Service.

Dr Anna Tan was head of cataract and refractive surgery in the National University Hospital, Singapore, as well as the Program Director of the Residency training program until 2021. She has trained numerous eye surgeons and is particularly experienced in femtosecond laser cataract treatment options and recent developments in cataract surgery.

Dr Yeo Tun Kuan is a Partner and Senior Consultant at Eye & Retina Surgeons, Camden
Medical.
Prior to joining ERS, Dr Yeo was a Senior Consultant in the Department of Ophthalmology at Tan Tock Seng Hospital
(TTSH). He was the Head of Cataract, Implant and Anterior Segment, Co-chair of Eye Operating Theatre Services at
TTSH, and Ophthalmology Clinician Lead for Ang Mo Kio Specialist Centre.

Clinical Associate Professor Ronald Yeoh is a Past President of the APACRS or Asia-Pacific Association of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons and has significant experience in all aspects of cataract surgery, ranging from preoperative assessments, biometry, surgical technique to familiarity with operating microscopes, phacoemulsification machines and importantly, the latest developments in intraocular lens implants.
He is also one of only 200 members of the IIIC (International Intraocular Implant Club) which provides a platform for networking amongst peers who are the leaders in cataract and implant surgery internationally.
